This is the movie that started it all! and my first Mcu movie.So I watched it when I was a kid on my Dad's laptop and I was blown away by the CGI and the engaging story.For a long time after watching the movie, I didn't want to look at any other incarnation of Iron Man because Robert Downey Jr made the role so unique it became a bit weird to look at other versions of Iron Man in the animated films or comics.I liked the villain, the iron monger I feel pushed him(iron man) to be a hero that the mcu deserved. For people who did not watch it, I think they should as seeing his origin story well serve you with deeper understanding of his character arc. All in all Iron Man is a good movie that would provide plenty of action, Romance and comedy for the audiences. Audience reviews Still the greatest MCU film. Way better than that overrated Marvel's The Avengers, that overrated Guardians of the Galaxy, that overrated Black Panther, that overrated Avengers: Infinity War, and that massively overrated Avengers: Endgame. When I dragged my wife to watch it with me, the first 20 minutes had her going “I was expecting light & fluffy comic book movie, this” Jon Favreau hit it out of the park with his choices; it felt real, except for obvious lapses of judgemen If you haven't seen it, you are missing something very substantial in live action cinema. Iron Man 2008 is one of a kind movie. A perfect blend of comic book and contemporary reality. Jon Favreau has made this one with to kick start a new era. When I watched the 1st trailer in August 2008 Iron Man The kickstarter to the absolutely fantastic MCU. This movie has a huge following to it, and this is my first of many updates to my MCU movie reviews. Will this film fly up into the sky and land safely, or will it crash land and explode? Let's find out in Iron Man. The story After Tony Stark is brutally injured and captured, he escapes in a suit made of scrap metal. He then cancels his weapons manufacturing, and continues to do good deeds as the superhero, Iron Man. Well, how's the story? I can sum it up with two words, cool and outstanding. The visuals make the story more interesting and the action and characters make it stand out as a fast paced film that is very memorable. So overall, the story is really good. The characters How's the acting in the movie? Particularly Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark. Well, I've gotta say that RDJ looks like Tony Stark as a whole. My other favorite characters are Pepper Potts, Rhodey, and Iron Monger. So if you never liked superhero movies, these characters will make you have a better thought about these films. The action/visual effects Okay. CGI needs to be used in every superhero movie these days. And the CG in this movie is one of the best types of visual effects I have seen in any superhero movie. Iron Man's suit in particular is mixed with practical and visual effects, and it is a stunning look for a 12 year old movie. And the explosions look incredibly real. The action in this movie is also really good, too! I recommend watching the movie for the cave fight scene and the battle of Gulmira. So overall, these two sections are the some of the best parts of the movie. Overview What else can I say? This movie is one of the best of all time. The story is perfect, the characters are perfect, the action is perfect, the visuals are perfect, hell, even the music still holds up to this day. So overall, this movie is really stunning and awesome. This movie is a franchise starter that is so damn good! 10/10
